Russo scored 100 not out while scoring his first T20 century. He completed his century in just 48 balls with the help of 7 fours and 8 sixes.

Apart from this, he also made a partnership of 87 runs for the third wicket with Quiton de Kock so that South Africa could build 227 runs for 3 in 20 overs.

Russo has so far scored 558 runs at an average of 152 in 21 T20 matches for South Africa.

De Kock along with Rousseau shaped the South African innings. But South Africa lost that match by 16 runs.
