When Jaylen Brown and Draymond Green got into a dust-up late in the second quarter, there were questions of whether both players would get hit with a technical foul.
But it was what happened after that triggered a review from the referees. Brown appeared to shove Green’s legs, which were on Brown’s head after the two were tangled up on the ground.
Brown also said Green tried to pull his pants down during the altercation. The two then got into an argument and had to be separated after they got on their feet.
“This is the NBA Finals,” Green said on the broadcast. “I wear my badge of honor. It’s not that I’m saying they necessarily treat me different. I’ve earned differential treatment.
But I’m never going to let someone stand over me. I’m a man first. My kids are in the stands. I don’t play like those types of games. Whatever happens at that point happens.”
